GLEN COVE GURDWARA AND LEONARD’S PALAZZO WEDDING AND RECEPTION

This wonderful couple's wedding was a magnificent example of how tradition, culture, and spirituality are blended together in Sikh weddings. I had the honor of documenting their big day as a wedding photographer in New York at Leonard's Palace and the Glen Cove Gurdwara.

The Glen Cove Gurdwara, a stunning Sikh temple, served as the ideal location for the Anand Karaj ritual. The pair started their wedding day with a traditional Sikh ceremony that included four laps around the Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh religion's holy text. The service was full with hymns, prayers, and blessings, and the Gurdwara was decked with vivid colors and lovely flowers.

The newlyweds and their guests traveled to Leonard's Palace for the celebration following the Anand Karaj wedding. Beautiful wedding venue Leonard's Palace has a vast ballroom that made the ideal backdrop for the celebration. Beautiful lighting, crystal chandeliers, and exquisite centerpieces gave the ballroom a cozy and inviting ambiance.

The pair made a grand entry to start the event, to the cheers and enthusiasm of their loved ones. I had the privilege of photographing the couple's first dance, which was a stunning occasion. Delicious food, moving speeches, and lots of dancing made up the evening.

I shot images of the couple in their lovely wedding clothes as well as the Gurdwara's magnificent architecture. The pair doing the four rounds and the ring exchange were among the key moments I made sure to record throughout the Anand Karaj ceremony.

There were numerous photo chances at the reception, including during the speeches, the couple's dance, and the frantic dance floor. The magnificent décor and lighting made for a great setting for the photographs.

The wedding of this lovely couple at Leonard's Palace and the Glen Cove Gurdwara was a lovely celebration of love, family, and tradition. It was an honor to document the couple's special moments because their love and dedication to one another were obvious throughout the day. I was honored to document this great event as the wedding photographer, and Leonard's Palace and the Glen Cove Gurdwara provided the ideal backdrop.
