Sheraton Mahwah Indian Wedding
The Mehendi ritual marked the start of the wedding celebrations as the bride's hands and feet were decorated with elaborate henna patterns. With music, dance, and lots of laughter, it was a vibrant and energetic celebration. Following the ceremony, the couple's families and friends performed dances and skits as part of the Sangeet to demonstrate their love and support for them.
The Baraat, in which the groom arrived at the location on a horse while being accompanied by family and friends, marked the start of the wedding day. The groom enters the wedding venue during the Baraat, a merry and colorful procession.
The Sheraton Mahwah's exquisitely adorned ballroom served as the venue for the wedding ceremony. The mandap was decorated with flowers, crystals, and lovely fabrics to create an exquisite setting for the wedding vows. The bride and groom were dressed elegantly for the occasion, and their love for one another was clear as they exchanged garlands and spoke their vows.
The bride's father offers his daughter in marriage during the Kanyadaan ritual, and the bride and groom exchange seven vows during the Saat Phere ritual, which symbolizes their devotion to one another. Being an Indian wedding photographer, I took care to document every aspect of the event, including the lovely photographs of the couple and the mandap's elaborate embellishments.
Following the wedding, the newlyweds and their guests went to the reception, which was a lavish event featuring delectable food, moving speeches, and lots of dancing. With amazing lighting and décor that produced a cozy and friendly ambiance, the ballroom was converted into a stunning party location.
Being an Indian wedding photographer, I was able to record the bride and groom's first dance as they made a dramatic entrance into the reception. The party mood was energetic and joyous as visitors packed the dance floor to the beat of Bollywood and Hollywood music.
Indian weddings are stunning displays of culture, tradition, and love. The Sheraton Mahwah hosted the wedding of this charming couple, which was a lavish event full of love, pleasure, and happiness. It was a privilege for me as an Indian wedding photographer to document the particular moments that made this day special and to produce memories that the couple and their families will treasure forever.
